New Coins

$

The workers at the U.S. Mint are making new golden $1 coins. I like the idea of the new $1 coins because the first coin has George Washington on the front and the Statue of Liberty on the back.

People can use the new coins to buy things. The new coins will not rip like paper $1 bills, so I like them.

Rainbows

After the rain is gone,
the sun shines.
Then seven colors appear,
You will see them in the mist.
The seven colors shown are,
red, orange, yellow, green,
blue, indigo, and violet.
So they disappear in the skylines,
They will someday reappear.
Look carefully in the sky,
or they will be missed.

First Bite

I picked up the fried worm with a fork, put it in my mouth, and worm juice came out all over the place. It was hot and crunchy. The worm tasted like dirt. Biting through it was so nasty. It smelled like rotten eggs. It was slimy going down my throat. Only one more to go.

The Problem in the Lunchroom

Principal Meany is walking into the lunchroom. He sees that all the sixth grade students are sitting down quietly. This is very unusual, but he still leaves the lunchroom because he had a meeting. Suddenly, he hears kids screaming in the lunchroom. Meany walks very fast to the lunchroom and sees a bully and the new kid at school , surrounded by all the other students. Meany can't figure out why the kids are standing up, not eating lunch. He walked out, still suspicious.

George

George is a male cat. George is lazy. He likes to play, eat and sleep. In this picture, his is sleeping on my chair with a toy mouse on him. George likes to rub my leg and meow. George is a big cat. He weighs 20 pounds. George is 4 years old and has a sister named Missy.

My Worst Brother and Sisters

One day when I was doing my chores, my brother and sisters were too lazy to work. I felt mad at them. The place was a mess. I told them to geet to work, but they wouldn't. So I decided to do their chores for them. Now the place is clean.
